One of the innovations we are proud of in Freefall is our combination of wood and carbon shafts, particularly in Re-Paddles.  We opted for this design when we started making paddles as it allows for a beautiful wood blade and lower shaft section and the ability to re-size the paddle easily with a removable upper carbon section.  Wood sections can be straight or cranked.
